- parking
- Rideshare is the venue's first recommendation — drop-off is at the security screening. If you drive, park on the street: the AutoZone, Club Carnaval and Taco More lots actively boot, and the venue isn't responsible for booted or towed cars (parking map at emosaustin.com/visit). ADA parking is first-come, in front of the main entrance by security.
- food
- No food service listed, and outside food and drink aren't allowed — eat before you go.
- drinks
- Full bar — beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic options. Cashless: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex or Apple Pay only.
- seating
- General admission, mostly standing, in a 6,500 sq ft venue with an outdoor patio; some shows add seating — check the event page. ADA seating is first-come and can fill early. "The Meet Up" upgrade gets you onto the patio an hour before doors, plus priority entry, private restrooms and first dibs at the bar.
- the room
- ~1,700-cap room on East Riverside since 2011, on the site of the Back Room, Austin's old metal hub. Emo's goes back to Houston punk (1989) and came to Austin in 1992 — punk, indie and metal, plus more rap and electronic these days. Most shows are all-ages (ages 3+ need a ticket). No re-entry; bags up to 12×6×12 in., no backpacks. Heads up: Emo's plays its last show at this address in December 2026 — AEG Presents takes over and renames the room in 2027, and C3 plans to move Emo's back downtown.
